About the Author
In 2006 Matt Ogg took the opportunity to study on exchange at the University of Economics in Prague, as part of his dual degree in journalism and economics at the University of Queensland. When he returned mid-2007 he decided to publish a book about the experience and that idea is now a reality - ‘Czech Mates: reflections of an Aussie student on exchange.’
Matt is the Brisbane-based journalist for Business News Publications (Brisbane Business News, Gold Coast Business News and Brisbane Legal) and is also a regular freelance contributor for the Business section of the Courier Mail. He has also published travel stories in The Sunday Mail, and has experience with Finance Broker Magazine, The Koori Mail, Quest Community Newspapers and The Westender.
Before graduating from UQ in December 2008 he again took the opportunity to add an international flavour to his studies through an internship with the Olympic News Service in Beijing.
